Earth Day Hike

April 22, 2023 | Join us for a rejuvenating Earth Day Shabbat hike on Saturday, April 22nd at 10am! This event is perfect for families and adults who want to honor mother earth, celebrate Shabbat and explore the beauty of Arabia Mountain.

We will begin together with musical prayer to welcome shabbat and then families/kids and adults can split off for differently paced hikes. Families will take a shaded trail down by the lake, a shaded path that passes by beautiful rock surfaces filled with flowers. Adults will take the forest route over Arabia Mountain’s peak and around the base. We will all meet together at the mountain base by the lake for a final program and BYO picnic lunch.

Adult hike led by Rabbi Jordan, Palmer, and Ian.

Family hike led by Rabbi Ariel and Joanna Koblivker.

This event is cosponsored by Jewish Climate Action Network and Repair the World, organizations dedicated to protecting the environment and creating positive change in the world. Come be a part of this community of changemakers and celebrate Earth Day in a meaningful way. We look forward to seeing you there!
