Family Shabbat Hike at Woodlands Garden

Join us for a morning of nature exploration at Woodlands Garden, followed by a bagel brunch. Parents and children of all ages will connect with the local wildlife habitat and engage in imaginative play on a walk through native trees and flowers. Learn about Oak Leaf Cooperative School’s upcoming child-caregiver classes at Woodlands Garden and plans to launch a nature preschool informed by Jewish content and values. Oak Leaf’s director will lead the hike and be available to answer questions about the new program.

About Oak Leaf Cooperative School’s Little Oak/Ilan Katan initiative

Oak Leaf Cooperative School is a nonprofit network of nature-based preschools and enrichment programs run by parents and teachers. Our goal is to set the foundation for children to become responsible citizens and environmental stewards. Based in the Chicago metro area, Oak Leaf will be expanding to intown Atlanta with its Little Oak/Ilan Katan program, with support from the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta. Children will participate in nature exploration, hands-on outdoor learning, and community service projects at local nature areas in all seasons, rain or shine.
