High Holidays with Ma’alot

Venues
Services will be held at Arabia Mountain and on the Emory University campus.
Tickets
High Holiday tickets are free for Ma’alot Builders. Builders are the backbone of our community, making Ma’alot events possible all year long with their financial contributions. If you are interested in joining the Builder community, learn more on our website.
Emory University students attend for free.
Tickets for non-Builders (over age 12) and non-Emory students are available for:
- $88/person for All 5 Services
- $54/person for just Rosh Hashanah Services (2 services total + lunch)
- $54/person for just Yom Kippur (3 services total)
We want to ensure that our services are accessible to everyone who wishes to join. If cost is a barrier to your participation, we invite you to write in a ticket amount that works for you, and type into the code box "Financial Aid."
If you are a family for whom:
1. Cost is a barrier
2. You are signing up two or more dependents 12 and under for services
Then you are invited to take 50% off your adult ticket cost(s) for all services to total $44 per adult. Please write in the updated amount below and type into the code box "familydiscount." Pricing for kids under 12 listed in the kids section, below.

Event Accessibility
Services taking place at Emory (Rosh Hashanah Morning, Kol Nidre, and Yom Kippur Morning) have ADA parking, ramped entrances to all venues, wheelchair accessible restrooms, and wheelchair seating. The Shabbat Shavuah Sunset Hike at Arabia Mountain
is not mobility-aid friendly. The Neilah service is held in a local home with stairs and is not accessible to chair users. We will have ASL Interpreters at all 5 High Holiday services. Accessibilty POC for any questions: info@maalotatlanta.com
All our services are family-friendly. Separate childcare and kids' programming will be available at Rosh Hashanah Morning, Kol Nidre, and Yom Kippur Morning services.

Located at Glenn Memorial Church at 1660 N. Decatur Road, Decatur, GA 30307.
Join us for an inspiring and interactive Rosh Hashanah service for all ages, featuring a breakaway kids' program.
Note: There will be no potluck following the service
Parking is available at the Fishburne Vistor Lot, located at 15 Fishburne Lane Atlanta, GA, 30322. This lot is a 3 minute walk to the church and will charge for parking.
Shabbat Shavuah Hike at Arabia Mountain
(Formerly Rosh Hashanah Hike, postponed due to concerns of air quality.)
Saturday, October 5, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Embark on a musical and nature-filled hike and mountaintop service to celebrate the sun setting over the year 5784. The hike is less than 2 miles and includes a 30 minute uphill walk over dirt and rock.
Kol Nidre at Emory University (Includes kids' program)
Friday, October 11, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Begin the transformative process of Yom Kippur with a communal chanting of Kol Nidre and mindful evening service to begin our fast. Featuring a breakaway kids' program.
Yom Kippur Morning at Emory University (Includes kids' program)
Saturday, October 12, 9:30 am to 2:00 pm
Engage in a day of introspection and spiritual growth through music, movement, art, and an investigation into the journey of teshuvah — returning to self. Featuring a breakaway kids' program.
Neilah at a Local Home
Saturday, October 12, 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm
Conclude the High Holidays with the exuberant Neilah service marking the end of Yom Kippur with triumphant snacking and noshing, all in the warm and nourishing atmosphere of a local neighborhood home.
Kids' Programs & Childcare
Ma'alot is offering three kids' programs at this year's High Holidays with Ilan Katan Director, Liana Grey! We will have kids' programs and ongoing childcare support at:
1. Rosh Hashanah Morning
2. Kol Nidre
3. Yom Kippur Morning
During these three services, kids' programs are geared for children age 3-12, and babysitting is available for littles of any age. While there is no separate kids program, please also purchase a kid's ticket for the Rosh Hashanna Hike and Neilah.
