Shabbat Morning Hike (June)

June 3, 2023 | Looking for an exciting outdoor adventure?

Join us on June 3rd for a community hike with Maalot! This event is perfect for those who are looking to get in touch with nature, connect with the community and get some exercise in.

We will be exploring the East Palisades Trail system starting from Whitewater Creek Trailhead that features a nice view of the river and a bamboo forest. The hike will cover a distance of 3.9 miles and an elevation gain of 492 feet and as such it's considered a moderately challenging route. We would love to have everyone join us on this hike, provided they are confident in their ability to keep up with the group (we will keep a slow to moderate pace).

There will be an option to take a shortcut back to the parking lot for those who may need to return earlier. We will be happy to explain which trails to take, but please keep in mind that navigating the shortcut will be the responsibility of each individual.

Please bring snacks and plenty of water as we will be making some stops along the route.

Note that this is a National Park Service Trail so there is a $5 Parking Fee. We look forward to seeing you there!
